Risa

Risa Risa Wechsler is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Stanford University and the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, and is afflilated with the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology. She works on topics in theoretical cosmology and astrophysics, and is primarily interested in galaxy formation and the development of structure in the universe, and in how astronomical observations can constrain the nature of dark matter and dark energy. Long a sought-after guest-blogger, this is her first regular blogging gig. She lives in San Francisco and is a big fan of good cheese.
