Ready to eat Tiger meat!

If anybody doesn’t understand the title of this post, just consider (i) it’s October, (ii) I’m American, (iii) I’m essentially from St. Louis. And I’m ready to go to DeTroit and maul some Tigers. Revenge for 1968!

In all honesty, the game tonight (baseball in case you don’t get it yet) (7th and final game of the National League Championship Series) was a complete nailbiter. I think I popped a blood vessel or two and it took alot of wine to calm me down. Anybody who thinks baseball is dull should have seen the game tonight.

More on the Fall Classic later after I have regained my senses….

Saw this in my RSS feed and my first thought was, “Their trying out tiger meat???”, second thought was…”I wonder what whale tastes like”

Sorry, JoAnne. Tigers are just too good this season… We have to get it after 22 years of being … well, not so good. :-)

Einstein Cafe & Pub in Toronto. They have used chemistry and physics textbooks as part of their decor.

Ahhrgh sorry, I must’ve clicked on the wrong comment link, and then just realized that it’s been mentioned already. Feel free to delete this post.

Sorry, but the result this year will be the same as it was in 1968, with the exception that the Tigers won’t let themselves fall behind three games to one before pulling it out by winning three games in a row, as they did in 1968.

    My prediction: Tigers in six.

The Cardinals are the team of destiny. All shall yield before their glory.

Well, I’m just glad there’s some part of American Boredom I haven’t yet visited. And that I don’t have to listen to some new gourmet craze with the obligatory explanations that they are not wild tigers, but grown on tiger farms, and in no danger of actually going extinct.

This is going to go to seven games, and one Mr. Pujols is going to make you question those words, Alexey

Cards win! Cards win! Go crazy, folks!

I expect a full report on CV tomorrow, JoAnne.
