Happy Opening Day to everyone. The happiest day of the year, I celebrated by taking the afternoon off to watch the Rangers lose to the Red Sox. Sadly, I didn't get to watch quite as much baseball as I would have liked, but I got the Rangers game in, so I'm happy.

Mark, I most heartily agree - summer is here!

Another year where we (St. Louis) have the best record in baseball, winning > 100 games, only to choke in the Fall, giving it all away for some underdog team that hasn't won in 500 years. Perhaps the new stadium will change this karma?!

And the beginning of another 88 years without a World Series title for the White Sox. God damn it.

I was there Friday and Saturday, and on Friday, at least, it was positively summery (without the 98% hunidity, or course).
